Attorney Scott S. Streed
Mr. Streed is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton in Fullerton, California, and went on to receive his Doctorate of Law Degree in 1996 from Western State College of Law, also located in Fullerton, California. Shortly thereafter, he opened his own practice in The City of Orange. In 2001, he moved the practice to it's current location at the corner of Lambert Road and Berry in the City of Brea.
Prior to his involvement in the practice of law, Mr. Streed was employed in law enforcement. He comes from a family of law enforcement officers and as such, he brings a unique, and often more complete, perspective to his cases. Mr. Streed also has detailed knowledge of the Public Employee's Retirement System (PERS) and has assisted many members of law enforcement, both current and former, with issues related to this type of pension system.
Attorney Streed's overarching goal for his clients is expeditious and amicable settlement without the need for prolonged court involvement. However, should court involvement become necessary, our clients can rest easy as Mr. Streed has a professional reputation, especially in Orange County, as an outstanding trial attorney and has a broad working knowledge of the court system and it's personnel.
Mr. Streed's primary areas of practice are Family Law, Probate, Civil Litigation and Criminal Offenses. Attorney Streed's sizeable knoweledge of the law enables him to also direct the paralegals in such diverse areas as Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, and Probate, to name a few.
As Paralegal/Legal Assistant to Mr. Streed for nearly eighteen years, Rebecca performs all of the necessary duties and functions of a certified paralegal swiftly and with ease. Rebecca handles the preparation and filing of legal documents and correspondence, manages the family law case files, manages Mr. Streed's schedule and calendar, handles client communications, billing, telephones, and performs all paralegal duties for Mr. Streed's family law practice as well as serving the needs of her own clients through our Attorney Directed Paralegal Services.
